| 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. |

This was God manifesting Himself (appearing) from the eternal realm to the physical realm which contains earth. Upon doing so, the light that came from God, was also the same light that shined in eternity. And because it is eternal light, the physical laws of light do not apply to it. And because of what 1 John 1:5 says (above). It cannot cast shadows. No shadows means no darkness (which means there was light on both sides of the earth at the same time) which confirms that verse in 1 John. Casting no shadows, and having no darkness, also explains why the first light had to be divided. But because this is spiritual light, shining in the physical realm. When the light was divided:
| 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. |

The division took on a dual meaning. In the physical realm, it created day and night:
| 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. |
God created the four parts of the normal 24 hour day upon the first day of creation. Now notice in verse 4, the word "good". This is a spiritual hint of the light also having an effect on the spiritual side as well (Good = God's light, Darkness = evil). So when light was divided for day, and night on the physical side of creation. It was also divided on the spiritual side as well. To have darkness to be a part of God's spiritual light, being what darkness stands for on the spiritual side (evil), has to be added. So upon darkness being created on that side, Satan and his angels were cast to the dark spiritual side of creation (which includes hell). But where is that side located? Satan is said to be the prince of the air.
| eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: |
The reason the word air is used, is because part of Satan's realm coexist with ours. This is how he is able to work so well against us, and tempt us. But because we are physical, and he is spiritual (evil), we cannot see him unless God permits it. So we now have the three heavens created. But as God works with each "one" during creation, the word heaven stays in singular form until creation is done. So the form and void spoke of, was in the spiritual and physical realm. God made the the boundaries for each. And when done, there was form and no more void.
Points to make:
1) Form=no heavens (realms) created, and no boundaries set up. When the light was divided, there was now form to the creation.
2) Void=darkness was empty, and had no meaning. So when God made the light, then divided it. He gave darkness a dual purpose. On the physical side it became day and night. On the spiritual side, it became what would contain Satan and his angels. So therefore, it was not void anymore.
| Side note: For those who apply the gap theory for the form and void part. It would take several years in this gap of time suggested to make it work. You have to remember that anything beyond a day is not created until day 4. Why? The second light (sun) has not been created, so the earth is not in orbit around the sun, which creates what is spoke of on day 4. |
|
gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. (sun and moon creation) |
Are there any other verses to back up the light from God?
|
Revelation 21: 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
|
Verse 23 explains so many things. So I'll break it down:
1) No need of sun, neither of the moon: This is the very exact situation during the first creation of light. The sun or moon had not been created.
2) The glory of God did lighten it: This confirms the source of light when there are no objects to produce light.
3) Lamb is the light thereof: This is the substance of the spiritual light. Spiritual light is Christ Himself. Not photons, like the substance of physical light. Which means there are two types of light. One that we can observe and test, and one that we cannot (eternal light from Christ). One that only exists in the eternal realm. And was used during creation, while the eternal realms between good and evil, were being set up.
Side note: God's eternal light existed during creation, which is considered the alpha of our existence. And when God comes back for the thousand year reign, it will be the last thousand years we spend upon the earth (Omega). So God creates time, and then ends it (alpha-omega). And it is God's light that exists in both the beginning and end.
Verses 24-25:
4) Saved shall walk in the light of it: This confirms that spiritual light has the capability to sustain physical life as we know it. So it produces the heat needed for life to exist, just like our sun. So when the question arises about the first light, and plant life surviving, here's the answer.
5) For there shall be no night there: This confirms why light had to be divided. No night means no darkness (eternal light from Christ cast no shadows). So division of the light had to be done to create night and day, and the boundaries between good and evil.
