On the next few pages there will be things to study about the bible. Plus different  messages through the Holy Spirit I received over the past few months as  this website was being built.

                The sin of opinionation!

In our walk with Christ, there will be several tests we will go through. One is a test of opinionation. If we fall into this trap it can hold us back from going forward in our walk with Christ, and it can hurt and stifle those around us in their walk as well. Opinionation is where we become so knowledgeable through man's teachings about God's word, we lose touch with the Holy Spirit. We think what we have learned is better than what every one else knows. And we take "pride" in our knowledge of God's word. And it is this pride that allows a pharisee spirit into our lives.

We have an opinion for everything ready for anyone who would be so kind to ask us for it. We cannot wait to scan our data banks in our brains to find one and give it. Opinions are not God's word. Truth is God's word. Instead of engaging our brain before we speak, our mouths fly at over 100 words per minute. With out thinking, we say what is on our minds. Once our opinions are out there it cannot be taken back. And these opinions can do more harm to the body of Christ than we could ever imagine.

Opinionation also falls under the category of gossip. Because opinions are not always based on facts, and can be a repeat of what someone else has said, it turns into gossip. And as it travels from one person to another more gets added to it that is also untrue. This is why Jesus used parables to answer questions. He knew that the people would find there answers to what they needed to know, and it would be His truth they would find, and not opinions which is what they were looking for. Jesus also would answer questions by asking questions. In this way, He was using examples so that the people would understand and comprehend what He was saying. He would pick a question that would have the same answer to the question that was asked of Him. As soon as He asked His question, the answer was apparent. In this way, His answer were also spiritually balanced.

The Pharisee's were always after Jesus. Why? Because He was teaching truth and knowledge of God's word. Because they had become more knowledgeable in man's teachings of God's word, they had become prideful in it. They could not stand that Jesus knew more than they did about God's word, and this made them look small in the eyes of men. Their pride in what they were, and what they knew, could not stand being challenged by someone such as Jesus. So they started forming there own opinions about Him. Saying things that were not true to try and bring Him down to their level. But because Jesus was wiser than they, He did not fall into their trap. He knew when to speak and when not to. This enrage more hatred towards Jesus from the pharisees because now they were made to look even more as fools in the eyes of men. This is what brought on the thoughts of killing him. Get rid of what they could not fix with their fleshly knowledge. Their pride in what they knew, brought them to the thoughts of murder.

The pharisee spirit is alive and well today. It comes in many forms of sin. Pride of knowledge, which causes opinionation, which causes gossip. There are many other sins that branch from this. but they all lead to the same end. Separation from God. Separation from God also means separation from the Holy Spirit. There are some things, we learn as being Christian, that only the Holy Spirit can show us. This is what the Pharisee's did not have. Spiritual guidance. You can memorize God's word. But if you do not have the guidance of the Holy Spirit in His word. You have nothing. As shown as with the example of the Pharisee's. They were so blinded by their knowledge, and the pride of what they knew, they could not even see that the Son of God stood before them.

This blinding because of Knowledge goes on all around us. Science, in their knowledge, Say's there is no God (pharisee spirit). When we make the connection with the Holy Spirit. The knowledge we obtain from it is more than we could ever learn in any school. A person connected to God through the Holy Spirit can teach you more about God and His word in one hour than some seminary schools or colleges can teach you all year. How? The teachings of God, through God (the Holy Spirit), penetrate the soul. The teachings of man cannot do this.

I'm not saying that going to a bible teaching school is dumb knowledge. What I am saying is: That knowledge "without" the connection with God through the Holy Spirit is as worthless as the Pharisee's of Jesus's time.
