Evolution's hall of shame.
Can life exist on other planets?
Here lately, this is a big stir on science websites and forums all over the net. People want to go to Mars to look for life of any kind. NASA is also using this need to find life else where, to fuel their plans to get money to go to Mars. Different assumptions and specualtions have arisen on this issue. Such as an old belief that life was planted here by another life form. Or that it came from another planet. Such as if mars had some type of explosion due to a impact, or what ever, and it threw a rock that had life to our planet. More or less seeding it for life. But there is several problems with this, the main one is knowing who seeded who, if this really happened.

So if life were found, could this question truly be answered, or only speculated? Because we do not have direct access to Mars when ever we want, answering this question at best would be assumption. And would only fuel the debate that is already there. As far as the current speculations are going, as far as science knows, earth could have seeded Mars. Which would still prove that life started here and not there.
