Evolution's hall of shame.

Having worked on cars most of my life. And was installing air conditioning on them. When the freon scare came out, I took notice because it really affected my work. But as I researched it, and asked questions to those who knew a lot more about things in this area then I did. I found out some things that made me not trust science anymore. We were sold on a bill of goods that a additive in R-12 freon would deplete our ozone. The fact of the matter is: Not only is R-12 heavier than air. But our oceans produce more of the same type of chemical on a daily bases, then we could produce and release in our lifetime. So this part was a lie by the scientists who thought it up.

When R-12 was banned. It was said that once supplies ran out. It would no longer be available. DuPont moved it's manufacturing plant to Mexico, and R-12 is still in production. And is shipped across our borders to be sold to us at 50 times what it cost to make it. I wonder who pockets this money? In fact you can go across the border and buy a can for about 7 dollars. Buy it here and it cost 50-60 dollars a can (pound), and requires a special licence to purchase. Upon banning R-12, A.C. installers, and repair people, had to get EPA certified to even be allowed to service A.C.'s. Shops had to buy special equipment to recycle freon that has been removed. I no longer do A.C. work because I would of had to buy all new equipment. Pay for classes to get certified. And spend 10-20,000 dollars on a freon recycle machine. Science telling more lies, and for what reason?

Is Global warming like the theory of Evolution? Where it has to be sold, not proved, to the public?
