Believing any deep time creation belief denies many of the attributes of God. This is how believing in Old Earth Creation, or that God used evolution to create does this:
1. Infallible – Without error – perfect etc… What they say: God did not create the earth perfect because God’s Word says it was without form and was void. Not even considering that the form and void might be a reference to something else.
What? It’s actually quite simple as to the reason that they won’t consider it, because it does not sound scientific. If you research how and when God names His creation, He does not name it until He creates it. So nothing by name is mentioned until it has been created.
So if God wants to refer to something before He creates it, how would He do it without naming it? He would mention how He would create it later. So if he wants to referred to man before he creates him, God would refer to *how* He creates him. So how was man created? Adam was *formed* from the ground. Everything else was created differently.
So when the Bible says: The earth was without *form*, it was referring to man. And when it says that the earth is void, it was referring to that the earth would be considered void until man was created. So what was God relaying to us? That man (formed creation) was the whole purpose of the creation, and that the earth would not be complete aka void until man was created.
2) God is all powerful – can do anything. What they say: First he cannot create a perfect earth, so He has to recreate it. Second, he’s not all powerful because He’s bond by deep times so he could not create in 6-24 hour days. And third, being bound by time God had to wait millions and billions of years for His creation to form and spread out aka big bang.
When God made it clear that He spoke age into His creation that day He created it.

Being able to speak age into His creation, makes God all powerful and outside of time and not bound by time. Having to wait billions of years for His creation to form shows God is not outside of time therefore must wait and wait.
So why does old age evidence exist? The same reason Young age evidence exists also. Old age is proof of God speaking age into His creation, which did not require the passage of time. And young earth evidence aka 6,000 year, is evidence of how much actual time actually passed.
So old earth evidence is evidence of God speaking age into His creation aka 2 Peter 3:5. Which speaking age does not require the passage of time. Example: This is how the sun can be created a certain age to be stable enough to allow life to exist on this planet.
Young earth evidence is evidence if the passage of actual time that did not require God to speak age into His creation.
3) Being a redeemer, Savior, dies on the cross to give us life because Adam’s sin caused death. They say without realizing what they do. That death existed before sin (because of all the time passage), Death of any kind before sin means death was a part of the creation making the creation and the Creator imperfect. God does not create death, man chose it. In other words, death was a choice but did not exist until man made that choice.
And this destroys the gospel, because if man did not cause all death, then Christ had no reason to go to the cross to give us life. So if what you believe denies all this, then the whole Bible becomes void starting with creation. Now do you see why there is such a push to believe in deep time creation? Satan knows that you will disqualify yourself for the kingdom.
Here’s why denying God’s attributes is so dangerous through deep time creation beliefs.
“But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 10:33 KJV
Deny God’s attributes before men is to deny Him as God before men also. To believe and deny is oxymoronic. So my challenge to anyone who disagrees with Young Earth Creation is to show and prove where it denies any attribute of God. I have no problem adjusting my views for creation. But you have to use the Bible, and not your personal opinions. Because God’s Word is where real truth comes from.
