NASA likes to claims that there is H2O water on Mars because there is H2O water at the poles on Mars because we can see ice.
What NASA does not tell you is that there is only trace amounts of hydrogen on Mars so there is only enough to make a pond of water instead of oceans like they claim. What is abundant on Mars is CO2 gas. And that with CO2 a different type of ice can be made called dry ice.
And there is not much difference in how dry ice looks compared to regular H2O ice. Can you tell the difference? How much is on Mars? The atmosphere on Mars is over 95% CO2. And on the poles when it gets cold enough, and it does, the CO2 freezes in midair and falls like snow and looks like snow on the ground. And when it melts, it does not create water. It briefly becomes a CO2 liquid then turns back to CO2 gas and returns to the atmosphere.
How easy is it to make CO2 ice? You can take a CO2 fire extinguisher and a cloth bag like a pillow case. Cover the nozzle and spray. The compressed CO2 becomes very cold when sprayed into bag and becomes ice as shown in the video below.
See how easy it is to make CO2 ice? And we have all the right conditions to make it on Mars too.
- The percentage (over 95%) is just right to create it in the atmosphere.
- It gets cold enough to freeze it at the poles.
- It falls like snow, looks like snow, so why not sell it as H2O ice?
So why would NASA lie? Think about it. They can push life existing on Mars and other planets. They get huge grants to go to Mars claiming life can exist there. To tell you that ice on the poles is CO2 dry ice, makes all of that go away.
